South Korea was also the second-largest destination for China’s nonwoven exports (HS 5603) in 2023. Korean buyers search mostly on Naver; Google volumes such as “화장솜” (cotton pads, about 880 a month) understate real demand.

In Korea, several disposable products are regulated “sanitary products” under the Sanitary Products Control Act, and the importer must declare and pass inspection before sale.

Fiber (cotton, lyocell, viscose or blend) and GSM with tolerance.

We supply die-cut dry toner pad stacks (55–70 mm) and slit spunlace master rolls to the filler’s GSM and size tolerance, packed for filling lines.
Q2Do compressed towels need an import declaration in Korea?+
Dry tissues used with water, which include compressed towels, are listed as sanitary products, so the importer declares them and passes inspection before sale. Confirm details with your customs broker.
Q3Can you make lyocell pads?+
Yes. Lyocell pads are smooth and strong when wet, which suits toner pads and compress pads.
Q4What is the MOQ?+
From 1,000 boxes per design for private label; substrate MOQs start at 20 cartons for die-cut stacks or 500 kg for slit master rolls.
