Viscose or cotton face towels — which is better for a skincare brand?

Accepted Answer

Viscose is softer and cheaper, which suits mainstream retail and Amazon. 100% cotton costs more but has higher wet strength and sheds less lint, which suits premium and sensitive-skin lines. What GSM should a disposable face towel be?

Accepted Answer

Everyday disposable face towels are usually 50–60 gsm, which balances softness and cost. Thick “XL” towels sold on Amazon are typically 80–90 gsm and feel closer to a cloth towel when wet. Below 45 gsm, towels feel thin and tear more easily. Details: face towel GSM guide.

What are stretchable compress pads?

Accepted Answer

Stretchable compress pads are thin, dry cotton or lyocell sheets that users soak in toner and stretch over the face as a quick sheet mask. 3-in-1 sets include pieces cut for the eyes, the nose-and-mouth area and the cheeks. See our stretchable compress pads and how they are made.

Do you supply dry pads for toner pad filling lines?

How are compressed towels made?

Accepted Answer

Compressed towels are cut from spunlace nonwoven (usually viscose or cotton), folded and pressed into a tablet under high pressure, then wrapped. When water is added, the fibers relax and the towel unfolds to full size in seconds. See Compressed Towels and our sourcing guide.

What is spunlace nonwoven, and how is it different from spunbond?

Accepted Answer

Spunlace (hydroentangled) nonwoven is a fabric made by entangling loose fibers with high-pressure water jets instead of glue or heat. It is soft, absorbent and low-lint, so it suits face towels, wipes and cotton pads. Spunbond is made from heat-bonded plastic filaments, usually polypropylene: strong, but less soft and absorbent. What should disposable postpartum underwear be made of?

Accepted Answer

Most disposable postpartum briefs are 100% cotton knit or breathable mesh, with a high waist that sits above a C-section incision and room for a maternity pad. Ours are 100% cotton, sizes S–XXL (AU 8–22), individually sealed. We do not label them sterile without a validated sterilization process. See Postpartum Underwear.

How much do samples cost, and who pays the courier?

Accepted Answer

The sample fee is Complimentary for stock swatch box ($50–$150 for custom printed pre-production samples, credited on order), and the courier is paid by swatch box is free; express courier ($35–$45) is covered by buyer and 100% credited on first order. Sample fees are credited against your first order. Express delivery to the USA, Australia or the Middle East usually takes 3–5 business days via DHL / FedEx / UPS Express days. How long do custom pre-production samples take?

Accepted Answer

Custom pre-production samples take 5–7 business days days after specs and artwork are confirmed. They show your exact size, GSM, embossing and printed packaging, and the approved sample becomes the reference for production checks. Start with a quote request.

Can you match a product we already sell?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes. Send your current product or its spec sheet, and we check fiber, GSM, size, embossing and pack count, then propose the closest base product or a custom spec. An exclusive embossing pattern may need a new roller USD $0 (with ZEFU’s 7 CNIPA Patents) or ~$2,800 for a bespoke custom-engraved roller. Send samples via Request a Sample Kit.

How do I verify an OEKO-TEX certificate?

Enter the certificate number in OEKO-TEX Label Check on oeko-tex.com. Check the product class (Class I for baby, II for skin contact), the certified products and the expiry date: STANDARD 100 certificates are valid for one year and certify products, not factories. How do you check quality on each order?

Accepted Answer

Every production lot is checked for basis weight, size, sheet count and appearance. We test for fluorescent whitening agents, formaldehyde, microbial load and lint, inspect finished goods at AQL 2.5 for major and 4.0 for minor defects, and keep retained samples for 24 months months. Do you have CE or FDA certificates?

Accepted Answer

No. Our consumer disposables do not need them: CE marking applies only to product types covered by EU harmonised law, such as medical devices, and FDA does not issue certificates. Do disposable face towels need FDA registration?

Accepted Answer

Generally no. In the US, dry disposable face towels, cotton pads and compressed towels are consumer products, not FDA-regulated. FDA registration applies to medical devices (such as medical cotton swabs) and to cosmetics such as pre-moistened wipes. FDA does not issue certificates, so “FDA certified” claims are misleading. What are US import duties on face towels from China in 2026?

Accepted Answer

Estimates as of October 2026: spunlace face towels (HTS 5603) about 37.5% (Section 301 List 3 25% plus forced-labor Section 301 12.5%); cotton pads (5601.21) about 41.1%; disposable briefs (6210.10.70) about 21%. Rates change often, so confirm with your customs broker before quoting. See duty estimates by product.

Can face towels be called biodegradable?

Accepted Answer

Only with evidence and qualification. US FTC guides restrict unqualified “biodegradable” claims for items that go to landfill, and the EU has banned vague environmental claims since 27 September 2026. Brands can say “made from 100% viscose fibers (plastic-free)” when a fiber test report supports it, or cite a specific certification. See what we do not claim.

What should Australian brands check before importing?

Accepted Answer

Dry towels, cotton pads and postpartum briefs sold without medical, sterile or antiviral claims are general consumer goods under the Australian Consumer Law; such claims can bring a product under the TGA. Wet wipes are cosmetics, so the importer must register with AICIS. Check your duty rate under ChAFTA with your customs broker. See Supplying Australian Brands.

What do buyers in Saudi Arabia and the GCC need?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the product. Wet wipes are cosmetics and need SFDA notification before import; dry towels and briefs may need SASO conformity certificates through SABER, checked by HS code. We print Arabic/English labels on request and quote CIF Jeddah. See Supplying Saudi Arabia & the GCC.

Which Incoterms do you quote?

Accepted Answer

We quote EXW, FOB Guangzhou (Nansha) or Shenzhen (Yantian / Shekou), CIF and, on request, DDP to Amazon warehouses. Because US duties are high, many US buyers ask for DDP or a landed-cost estimate. What are your payment terms?

Accepted Answer

Our standard terms are 30% T/T deposit upon PI confirmation, 70% balance before shipment after QC inspection. Sample fees are paid by PayPal, Wise, Alibaba Trade Assurance or T/T. Pro forma invoices are issued by Guangdong Zefu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (or designated export entity). Payment terms are confirmed in each written quotation; request a quote to see them for your order.
